TASA Award for Distinguished Service to Australian Sociology
TASA occasionally provides awards to members for their outstanding service to Australian sociology.
Conditions:
- Nominators and nominees must be TASA members.
- Nominees must be nominated by TASA members.
- Nominations are made in writing to the Executive Committee and must include the nominee's CV and a brief statement concerning their service to Australian sociology.
Determination:
The Executive determines the award.

- Emeritus Professor Lois Bryson (1996 - inaugural recipient)
