TASA's New Website Launched: www.tasa.org.au

The Australian Sociological Association (TASA) launched a new version of its website on the 12 March. The site has a new professional design, added functionality and significantly expanded content and features.
TASAweb serves the interests of various communities, including TASA members, social science scholars, social policy analysts and consultants, government officials, media representatives, and the general public.
Key features of the new TASA website include:
- News section: regularly updated news items on the homepage, including upcoming conferences and events, publications, new jobs and scholarships, career moves...
- Resources section: provides access to a large collection of high quality online social science resources and databases
- TASA section: information on TASA, its Executive Committee, Conferences, Awards, the Journal of Sociology and Nexus newsletter, Careers and study.
- Members-only login area: access the full text of TASA Conference Proceedings, Nexus newsletter online, TASA Constitution, Ethical Guidelines, and other TASA policies and reports, AGM minutes, TASA Election news...
- Online secure membership form: TASA membership offers sociologists numerous ways to enhance their careers through professional activities, scholarly information exchange and networking opportunities
- Interactivity: various areas of the web site provide opportunities for feedback and queries such as the Media releases section, FAQs and the Suggestion box.
TASAweb aims to be a flagship site for people seeking information on the social sciences in Australia.
