TASAweb Conference Update Guidelines

The TASA Executive controls the content of TASAweb. It is the responsibility of the TASA Multi Media Manager, as delegate of the Executive, to ensure that all content on TASAweb meets with the Constitutional and policy requirements of the Association. All content for TASAweb, including conference information must be submitted to the TASA Office.

TASA Conference Website

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) is responsible for content on the TASA Conference website. Each LOC can select a theme for the website and change the content in line with the conference aims and themes. Changes can be made by the LOC and should be negotiated with the PCO where necessary. In 2011, the conference website pages were housed within the TASAweb site and the LOC contacted the TASA Executive Officer when updates were required. The Executive agreed to continue with this process in 2012. Changes to the structure of the website need to be negotiated with the TASA Vice-President, who has responsibility for liaising between the LOC and TASA Executive. The current structure is:

  • Welcome
  • Call for papers (incl. electronic abstract/paper submission and reviewing)
  • Speakers
  • Program
  • Health Day (liaise with Health Day Convenor)
  • Postgraduate Day (liaise with TASA Postgraduate representative)
  • Thematic Groups
  • Scholarships (link to TASA scholarship information)
  • Accommodation
  • Social Events
  • Registration (incl. electronic registration facility)
  • Sponsors
  • Venue
  • About [location]
  • Contact (details of Convenor and PCO)

Information on the Conference website should be current and timely.
