The conference will be held in the City Precinct in Newcastle, using adjacent University buildings and the City Hall.
CITY HALL
Located in the heart of Newcastle’s Cultural Precinct Newcastle City Hall can be found between the Civic Railway Station and Civic Park. Located at 290 King Street and adjoining the pedestrian mall known as Wheeler Place, Newcastle City Hall is only a short walk to the harbour foreshore, restaurants, cafes and accommodation.
UNIVERSITY HOUSE
Located at 300 King Street, University House is a landmark Art Deco sandstone building directly opposite Civic Park, adjacent to City Hall. University House contains a computer lab on the ground floor providing easy computer and internet access for delegates, and various rooms which will be used for concurrent sessions.

Street parking in Newcastle’s City Centre is intended for short-term stays. For longer stays, consider using a parking station or ideally leave your car at your hotel and take advantage of the free bus service offered by Newcastle Buses in the CBD.

There are a range of options for disabled parking around the conference venue.
The nearest set-down areas for City Hall and University House (Conference Venue) are on King Street, where there is on street parking available, as well as a set down area for direct entry to City Hall. There are also spaces for disabled parking on nearby Laman St, Queen St and Auckland St.
