The TASA refereed journal is published four times a year by Sage and is part of TASA membership. The journal has an international readership, but is particularly pertinent to those in Australia and New Zealand. HSR is an international, peer reviewed journal which explores the contribution of sociology and sociological research methods to the understanding of health and illness; to health policy, promotion and practice; and to equity, social justice, social policy and social work. It is also the journal of the TASA Health Sociology section.
HSR is indexed in APAIS - Australian Public Affairs Information Service and AMI - Australian Medical Index. It is listed with DEST - Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training as a refereed journal.
Previously entitled The Annual Review of Health Social Sciences, it is published twice yearly and available for subscription separately.

Histories of Australian Sociology brings together, in one volume, a comprehensive collection of original papers, previously published journal articles and book chapters, and unpublished essays that document the establishment and rise of the discipline of sociology in Australia and New Zealand. This directory lists members’ contact details and research interests, and is particularly helpful for locating potential postgraduate supervisors and examiners as well as for networking. It is published online as a fully searchable, real-time directory available in the members-only section of TASAweb. Archives of the earlier hard copy versions for 2000 and 2001 are also available in the member area.
Refereed conference proceedings have been published regularly since 1998. TASA members can access the complete contents of the following conference proceedings for free online in the members’ only area. Original CDROMs of the complete proceedings are also available for purchase - see the contact detials below.
