TASA members can join up to 3 Thematic Groups.

Work and Labour Studies

Aims and objectives:

The aims of the Work and Labour Studies TASA Thematic Group are to:

Facilitate informed debate about matters relating to work and labour studies in Australia and elsewhere.
Sponsor the development of scholarly literature about work and labour studies in Australia and elsewhere
Provide an avenue for TASA members and other researchers’ interested in work and labour studies to engage in relevant debate and research activities.
Facilitate a work and labour studies stream at TASA conferences.
Engage with other relevant networks such as Research Committees 44 and 30 within the International Sociological Association.
