Hi everyone

 
Update from October meeting
We finalised the last details for our end of year event with guest speaker Jayne Malenfant (see event details below!). We chose to focus the event on Jayne's talk + general Q&A about her talk, followed by a collegial discussion/debate about the challenges and opportunities for 'co-design' in our work across diverse contexts. I am very much looking forward to it and hope you can make it!
Many members are having a exhausting year and preferred to defer the members-presentations component. We have approval to use the remaining funds to host a hybrid/face-to-face event perhaps around end Feb/March 2022, once lockdowns/restrictions ease (?!). More info on that in the new year.

Jayne's talk is entitled 'The Commodification of Lived Experience in Co-design and Participatory Research: Fostering Conditions for Real Transformation' and draws on her work as a 'LivEx' researcher in youth homelessness.

New paper from member Sienna Aguilar!
Congrats Sienna on your first paper working in the non-Academic space!
