To modify this page, paste in the URL of the banner image. Get the banner image URL from clicking the clipboard icon in web graphics manager. Search for images in the "banner" category.

To modify the links on the right hand side, right click on the link and select "change link" from the popup context menu. The link will automatically format to have the arrow.

You may also use a submenu widget here instead of manual links. The awards pages names were too long for the submenu widget - page names have a maximum character length of 26 characters.

To change the image in the gray row (beneath the text) right click on the image, and choose "change image" from the context menu.

All other text should be selected and retyped.

TASA Thursdays


TASA Thursdays was launched on Thursday April 23, 2020. What began as a way to help our members stay connected during the pandemic lockdowns of 2020 & 2021, TASA Thursdays continued throughout 2022 - 2025 and will be a feature in TASA's 2026 calendar also. The sessions are an opportunity for members to showcase their work or present on a topical issue. They continue to be a means for sociologists to connect with likeminded people.  The recorded sessions are available on our YouTube channel here. 

Roger Wilkinson, our Digital Publications Editor, together with Penny Toth, our Events Manager, hosts the monthly webinars and, in 2026, Molly Saunders, our Postgraduate Portfolio Leader, together with the Postgraduate Sub-Committee, will host the monthly Postgraduate sessions.  The schedule for 2026, shown below, will be updated as events are booked.
